Pain in the neck

It's now the third day that I've been hospitalised. Oh, for those who haven't heard, I went white water rafting with my cousins last Saturday at Kuala Kubu Bharu (awesome, want to do it again). The thing was, we had a pit stop at one of the waterfalls along the way and whilst I was about to get back into my raft, I slipped causing me to fall on my back and hit my head against the rock (ouch ouch ouch). The world kinda went black for about 2 seconds, maybe because I had my eyes closed, he he, and when I opened my eyes, the thing that made me panicked was the look of horror in Ami's eyes. Oh oh.. that's not good..


But I continued with the rafting, as I said, it was so much fun, but when I got back home, I started feeling a throbbing pain in my head and it hurt for me to turn my head. So on Sunday, we went to my normal GP in Hartamas who then said I may need to have an xray and a scan just to be sure that I'm ok and referred me to Pantai Medical Centre in Bangsar.


To cut a long story short, I got admitted and first things first, they put me in a neck brace:

Did an xray and an MRI scan, but both showed there was nothing wrong, bersyukur sangat that all is well, just that I developed high fever whilst being admitted, so the doctors are kinda concerned, pulak lah kan.. Oh, also went for my first physio therapy session, which was cool, reduced the tension on my neck.

Other than that, I'm my own usual self, still bubbly and happy as I can be, cuma pening sikit when I walk.

I have to thank everyone for their endless SMS's, phone calls (sorry at times I didn't pick up, tengah tidur and I feel a bit drowsy from the medication), messages on FB etc., gosh, it's wonderful to have family and friends like you lot - you know who you are..

To Razzak, Muz, Jedan, Mael, Azril thank you for coming to visit me, that was indeed a nice surprise, thank you again!

My dearest Ami, thank you so much for taking good care of me all this while, thank you Yang, I really appreciate it.

So now here I am, waiting for the doctor to give me clearance to go back home today, as I have a flight to catch tom night at 2325 hours, and I haven't packed a single thing! Please kinda doctor, can I go home now?
